Taste the sunshine
The taste and the colour of the sunlight
There is no doubt, without light there is no life on Earth. Basically, every living being on Earth depends on the light of the Sun: life, creatures, the diversity of nature. What we, humans perceive is just a fraction of the appearance of light in nature.
In the HUN-REN ATK Scientific Experience Centre we will examine the dual nature of light in the life of plants throughout a day: the relationship between forests and light, the colour of plants, the green light, the photosynthesis, the trapped light, the sugar.
09.00-14.00: Discovery activity in the park about the relationship between light and plants: the green light and the photosynthesis
20.00-21.00: A programme in the park at night about illuminating animals and plants
21.00-22.00: Light trapping: nocturnal flying animals
